Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez has completed the signing of French striker David Ngog from Paris St Germain.
The highly-rated 19-year-old has penned a four-year contract at Anfield for an undisclosed fee and he is Liverpool's fourth signing of the summer.
Ngog, the cousin of former Newcastle defender Jean-Alain Boumsong, scored once in 18 games for PSG last season.
Liverpool add Ngog to their previous major summer signings Andrea Dossena, Diego Cavalieri and Philipp Degen.
Benitez is still thought to be chasing Aston Villa captain Gareth Barry and Tottenham striker Robbie Keane.
Ngog has scored goals at every youth level for France and he struck twice against England Under-19s last season.

Robbie Keane WAS good, no doubt. But he already peaked.
Liverpool could buy but with 20.3 M ??? I don't think it worth it!!!
RK price should around 7M.
I admire RK but can't visualize he's playing with Torress & Gerrard.
We need somebody like Eto/Tevez.

i agree that at 20mil, keane is waayy over priced..
and that goes for most english/british players now...they are at a premium becoz theres not many that is THAT good..
gareth barry for 18mil is also insane...
feck, cheatski got Deco for only 7mil... and Deco is far better player than barry..regardless of the age factor...
i think poo need wingers..good wingers...then maybe poo will be good enuf to compete ...

for 20 million mmg mahal la Robie Keane..but then again Rafa has been critised buying 1.5 Million youngster.. and kalau dia beli non EPL player..kang kena komen only kuatkan team untuk Euro aje...

name me another proven Premiership striker that will cost much much less.. probably you can say Yakubu/Benjani/Cruz/Defoe .. Yakubu was 12Million Pound Buy by Everton last year..Cruz will be around that 15-20 million bracket and only have had his first year..Benjani dah tua jugak.. Defoe..doesnt have the right attidtude (even so ..i didnt mind having him)

kalau kita tgk Tevez, Berbatov and Adebayor..dont think we will get hthem for 20 million.. Tevez even cost a whooping 32 Million. the only other player that i think will be as good signing as Robie Keane and might be even cheaper is Anelka. he is also desperate to play for Liverpool .. why Rafa dot rate him....i dont know.
