Selasa (CSI New York) - 9 mlm - 10 mlm
Dlm 3 citer CSI ni yg kurang best sikit...tak der trade mark...

Rabu ( CSI Las Vegas) - 9 mlm - 10 mlm (pelopor citer CSI di Astro)
Best sbb citer gaya bos dia yang cool jer...this week ada suspend sikit sbb ingat betul2 orang dia mati sbb tak dpt diselamatkan...

Kalu tak puas lagi tengok ulangan pada hari Ahad...

But mende mende ni actually tak se simple as shown on tv. like DNA dbase etc, semua tu takes time. :D Kalau tak silap dlm paper The Star ado cite pasai malaysia punya Forensic Team. Aku pun kije dlm bidang CSI gak tapi untuk computer network communication ler :D . instead of guna UV light sensor tu, aku guna ENCASE :D

yup agree with u...untuk malaysia takder lagi database for DNA..yang ader cuma database untuk finger print jer...but i heard diorang nak bentang kat parlimen untuk dapat approval dari gov to collect all DNA daripada pesalah and masuk dalam satu database...so that lepas nie tak depend on finger print jer...

Well aku memang agree pasai comparing DNA with its dbase. Actually negara kite dah start gathering DNA and implement on newborn. Cuma what I mean extracting DNA from recovered evidence is not as simple as shown on tv. :D Btw aku cuma suka time dieorg buat findings ngan recreate balik crime scene. Macam reverse engineering lak :D

Season 5 tak pasti plak brapa keping. Kat Sg. Wang tu depa jual 3 keping $20. Di ulangi...kena pepandai carik. Sabtu lepas member aku beli Desperate Housewives rega $60 (8keping DVD + 1keping citer lain nak bagi cukup 9keping=3keping $20). Ada kedai yg jual $96 inggit. Dah pusing² jumpa la yg murah tu. CSI ada gak.

Growing up with an alcoholic mother and an abusive father, Calleigh Duquesne learnt to master a gun from young and was the first in her family to have a college education. Her knowledge of firearms got her a job in the New Orleans crime lab, before a call from Miami requesting for a ballistic expert lured her over to the sunny city.

Previously featured in the movies, "Leaving Las Vegas" and "Jerry Maguire", Emily Procter was also in the Emmy-Award winning drama "The West Wing", and guest starred in "Friends" and "Just Shoot Me".

Eric Delko
Special Skills: Fingerprints, Drug Identification

While schooling, Eric Delko discovered his love for swimming, but succumbed to his father's insistence in learning science. Much to his father's dismay, Eric decided to become a swimmer in the Underwater Recovery Department in the Police Academy. He made such a good impression on Horatio Caine that he became the first recruit of the CSI after Caine took over the reins.

Adam Rodriguez

Adam Rodriguez got his lucky break guest starring in "NYPD Blue", and is also familiar to audiences of "Roswell", "Felicity" and the feature film "The Imposter".

Alexx Woods
Special Skills: Medical Doctor

A compulsive neat freak, Alexx Woods' attention to detail became a natural progression into the medical field, until a superior's mistake caused a patient's death, and her career as a doctor ended. She went on to work as a coroner in New York, and then left for Miami to head a new office, despite having to leave her husband and children behind.

Khandi Alexander

Khandi Alexander featured in a recurring role in "ER", "Law and Order", "NYPD Blue", "Cosby" and "La Femme Nikita" On the big screen, she starred in "There's Something About Mary". Khandi is also an accomplished choreographer.

The widow of Raymond Caine Colombian-born detective Yelina Salas now find herself in awkward situaion of working Homicide with her brother-in-law Horatio and his CSIs. Aware of Horatio's attraction to her, Salas often tries to steer him spending more time with her and her son, Raymond JR. But Horatio always insists on keeping his distance.

Sofia Milos

Sofia Milos starred in the television series "The Secret Lives of Men" and "Calf Americain". she has also appeard in " The Sopranos", "Curb Your Enthusiasm", "Caroline in the City", "Friends", "Mad about You" and "Thieves".

Milos began modeling when she was at the age of 15 to help pay her way through business school in Switzerland. However, in 1990, she moved to the United States to pursue an acting career. Following several television roles, she appeared in the feature films "Screw Loose", "Jane Austen's Mafia!", "The Ladies Man" and "The Order". Her latest film, "Passionada", was released last year.

In 2004, Milos was honored by the Hellanic Society Scholarship Fund with the organisation's prestigious Artistic Achievement Award. She is also an avid painter.

Milos was born in Zurich and raised in Rome. She lives in Long Angeles. Her birth date is September 27.

Ryan Wolfe

As the first responding officer at the scene of a bus crash, patrol officer Ryan Wolfe impressed Horation Caine enough to earn himself a chance to work with CSI. Benefiting from luck and timing, Wolfe was able to get his feet wet on a case very close to home, involving Calleigh Duquesne's father who is a suspect in a possible vehicular homicide. Wolfe immediately made in known that he is more interested in uncovering the truth than proving himself, and by using traits already inherent in his character -- Intelegence, drive and sense of curiosity -- he was able to put scienctific knowledge into context and solve his first case. As a new CSI, Wolfe will not only have to prove he can do the job, he will also have to fill a spot once held by Tim Speedle, whose untimely death has rattled the tight-knit CSI team.

Jonathan Togo

Jonathan Togo was most recently seen opposite Sean Penn in the feature film "Mystic River." His previous television credits include a starring role in the series "Special Unit 2" and appearances on JUDGING AMY, "Law & Order", "Ed" and "The Jury."

A graduate of Vassar College, Togo received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and performed in productions such as "Suburbia," "Conduct of Life," and "Our Country's Good," for which he received the Margaret Thatcher Kazan Award. His other theatrical credits include "Romeo and Juliet," "Bird and Dog" and "Murder in the Cathedral." His film credits include roles in "Raccoon" and "Up," the latter of which was made through the Sundance Director's Lab.

Born in August 25, Togo makes his home in New York City.

Gil Grissom

Grissom is the head of the Las Vegas Criminalistics Bureau. An investigator of the old school with 20 years on the job, Grissom eschews computer simulations and readouts for the old-fashioned, hands-on technique and legwork. CSI is his life. He supervises a team of very diverse professionals on the night shift, and Grissom goes to the wall to protect them from department interference – and sometimes, from the consequences of their own risky decisions, on and off the job. The congenital hearing disorder that has plagued him, and which he took pains to hide from his colleagues, has been successfully repaired through surgery.

William Petersen

William Petersen comes to this series with an extensive background in film, theater and television. His credits include the television films Haven, Long Gone, The Rat Pack, The Kennedy's of Massachusetts, which won a Golden Globe Award, The Beast and Keep the Change, which he also produced.

His film credits include The Contender, To Live and Die in L.A., Manhunter, Fear, Cousins, Young Guns II, Hard Promises, and Skulls.

Petersen made his Broadway debut in the revival of Tennessee Williams' The Night of the Iguana. In 1979 he founded the Remains Theater Ensemble in Chicago with a group of fellow actors. He has appeared in a number of stage productions including A Streetcar Named Desire, The Time of Your Life, Glengarry Glen Ross, Fools for Love and Speed the Plow.

Petersen was born in Evanston, Illinois, and first discovered acting while on a football scholarship at Idaho State University. Upon graduation, Petersen traveled to Spain to study acting. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife Gina. His birth date is February 21.

Catherine Willows

A single parent with a young daughter, Catherine's a former exotic dancer turned street-smart veteran criminalist who juggles the job she loves with her responsibilities at home. The horrors of the crime scenes Catherine investigates bring into sharper focus her fears for her child, making her even more determined to shield her little girl from the seamier, shadowy side of Vegas that is revealed after the sun goes down. Only recently, she discovered that her mentor, casino titan Sam Braun, is her biological father, and she must struggle with her feelings toward him since a CSI investigation she spearheaded implicated him in a murder case.

Marg Helgenberger

For her work in CSI's premiere season, Marg Helgenberger was nominated for an Emmy Award as Best Actress in a Drama Series; she was nominated again for Season 3. Before returning to series television as a crime scene investigator, Helgenberger was perhaps best known to viewers for her Emmy Award-winning role as "K.C." in the series China Beach. Her other television credits include a recurring guest appearance on E.R. as George Clooney’s love interest and the television movies Perfect Murder, Perfect Town, Thanks of a Grateful Nation, The Happy Face Murders and the mini-series The Tommyknockers.

Helgenberger starred in the feature film Erin Brockovich with Julia Roberts. Her additional feature film credits include Species, Species II, Fire Down Below, The Last Time I Committed Suicide, My Fellow Americans, Cowboy Way, Bad Boys, Always and Crooked Hearts.

Helgenberger lives in Los Angeles with her husband, actor Alan Rosenberg, and their son Hugh. Her birth date is November 16.

Sara Sidle

Sara's the sharp, no-nonsense CSI-2 investigator out of San Francisco who sometimes colors outside the lines to close a case. Sara's a friend and former trusted co-worker of Grissom's, but she is still struggling to win his approval, as well as how to handle her growing personal feelings for him, and she is wondering if perhaps giving all to the job is worth it.

Jorja Fox

Born in New York City, Jorja Fox began her acting career at the age of five when she was cast in the starring role as the Rooster in the children's classic Chicken Little. She grew up in Melbourne Beach, a small coastal town in Florida.

Since she moved to Los Angeles, Fox has had recurring roles in the Emmy Award-winning Best Drama The West Wing and E.R. and starred in the series Missing Persons. She also guest starred in the groundbreaking "coming out" episode of Ellen with Oprah Winfrey and Laura Dern, as well as a guest turn on Law & Order.

Her film credits include the independent features Memento with Guy Pierce and Carrie Anne Moss, Forever Fabulous with Jean Smart, Hungry Bachelor's Club, and most recently, Down with the Joneses.

Fox is the co-founder of Honeypot Productions, an independent avante garde theater company in Los Angeles. The theater company has produced five original productions and she has starred in four, written three, and directed one of them.

Fox's birth date is July 7.

Warrick Brown

Brown is the hotshot on the night shift, with real talent and a real problem – he's addicted to gambling, and he has worked hard to overcome the problem. He fuels the fire he has for the job by constantly challenging his fellow investigators. The competition among them may be a game, but Brown knows how to get serious when it comes to the work. He knows he's good, but wants to be better – both on the scene and controlling his demons. But he also knows it's his own questionable behavior that has put him in the permanent position of having to prove to himself and his team that he can be trusted.

Gary Dourdan

Gary Dourdan starred in the television movie Muhammad Ali: King of the World. His additional television credits include a starring role in the series Swift Justice and guest appearances in the series NY Undercover, Cold Feet and Beggars & Choosers.

Dourdan's feature film credits include Imposter, with Gary Sinise, Alien Resurrection, with Sigourney Weaver and Winona Ryder, Playing God, Scarred City, New Jersey Turnpikes and The Weekend.

He was born in Philadelphia, and now lives in Los Angeles. His birth date is December 11.

Nick Stokes

Equal parts charm and chops, Nick Stokes is more than happy to take Warrick on, but he tries to remain an objective professional. It's clearing the case that really gets him juiced. Nick could still be in Texas with the rest of his family, but he chose to move two states over. There's a part of Nick that loves his family and his family name, but there's also a part that wants to be on his own, to lay down his own roots and establish his own identity. What he's finding is that roots don't take quickly. Growing them is a slow process fraught with mistakes...and Nick isn't finished.

George Eads

Born and raised in Texas, Eads' immense fondness for playing "make believe" while growing up should have been a good indicator that he would not end up with a career in sales, which was his initial intention.

After high school, Eads entered Texas Tech, intending to make good use of his public relations major and the degree he had earned. He put in his time driving around Texas making sales cold calls, but when the opportunity to teach drama presented itself, Eads took the job at a local middle school in Waco. He eventually left teaching to enter an associates degree program in acting. Even though his early career in sales came in handy – "rejection was something I learned how to deal with early" – he had found his heart.

Eads was fueled equally by the support of his mother, a high school principal, and by the devil's advocate stance that his father, an attorney, took. He worked to hone his acting skills, signed with an agent, and eventually made the move to Los Angeles in 1994 with the money he had saved doing commercial work.

Eads' television film credits include The Spring, Broken Crown, The Ultimate Lie, and Second String, starring Oscar-winner Jon Voight, in which Eads played a quarterback for the Buffalo Bills. He has appeared as a guest star on Strange Luck, as well as multiple episodes of E.R. Eads starred as the ill-fated "Travis" in the first episode if the Aaron spelling drama Savannah, but after the character was killed off, Eads returned to the series as Travis' twin brother "Nick" for the remainder of the one-season run. He went on to star in the second incarnation of the series Grapevine.

Eads' feature film credits include Only in America and Dust to Dust. This past hiatus, Eads starred in two motion pictures-for-television – the romantic comedy A Walk in the Park, and the western Monte Walsh, starring Tom Selleck.

Greg Sanders

Since picking up his first amateur chemistry kit when he was seven, Greg Sanders has wanted to be a scientist. Even though he was told that science was supposed to be a hobby of the pasty-faced and romantically-challenged, that did not dissuade him from joining the Science Club in high school, nor from majoring in Chemistry in college. He had always balanced lab work with athletics; studying with dating; and computer work with Playstation. Addicted to the pursuit of knowledge, he has been on a quest to learn all he can about the previous scientific breakthroughs of the past centuries. And discovering and naming a brand-new theory or element after himself wouldn't hurt, either. Recently, Greg has been given the opportunity to join his CSI colleagues in the field, but he still has a lot to learn.

Eric Szmanda

Born in Milwaukee and raised in the small suburban town of Mukwonago, Szmanda's love for acting began at an early age. Throughout high school, he was very active in local theatre. At the age of 17, he toured Russian and the Ukraine in a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Szmanda moved to Los Angeles and was graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1996. Even while he was studying acting, Szmanda worked as a marketing intern for the record label BMG, beginning an ongoing love affair with music. After school, he accepted a position with BMG as an Alternative Music Product Development Coordinator, and produced a compilation CD entitled "Mojave". Even while he was auditioning for acting jobs, he continued to work in the music industry, until he decided to commit solely to his acting career.

One year later, Szmanda appeared in the LA Odyssey Theatre's world premiere of Black Box. His first regular television role came for the USA Network in the series The Net, in which he played Jacob Resh. After the show was canceled, Szmanda appeared in a pilot, and several recurring and guest-starring roles in television. He also landed the lead in the independent film True Vinyl, and continued to appear on stage in various productions, including the Stages Theatre world premiere of The Bullfight, in which he played a passionate matador. Most recently, Eric appeared in director Roger Avary's highly anticipated film adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis’s novel Rules of Attraction.

Szmanda remains interested in music, and started his production company – doop – with the goal of fusing music and acting. Recently, he was tapped to be music supervisor of the Irwin Winkler film Life is a House. When he isn't acting or producing, he is a volunteer in the Big Brothers program.

Capt. Jim Brass

The former boss at CSI, Brass has been shifted back to homicide, which makes him even crankier than he was, and often puts him at the crime scene with members of the team he used to supervise. The detectives and the investigators all want the same things, but sometimes their good intentions - cop vs. scientist - collide.

Paul Guilfoyle

Veteran actor Paul Guilfoyle has starred in numerous feature films. A few of his film credits include Random Hearts, Anywhere But Here, The Negotiator, Amistad, Air Force One, LA Confidential, Ransom, Extreme Measures, Striptease, Quiz Show, Mrs. Doubtfire, Primary Colors, Wall Street and Session 9 with David Caruso.

Guilfoyle's theatrical credits include the Broadway productions Search and Destroy, The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel, Richard III and Glengarry Glenross. He has also appeared in the productions Death Defying Acts, Those the Rivers Keeps, Mink on a Gold Hook, Loose Ends, Endangered Species and Henry V.

His television credits include the series Secret Agent Man, Law and Order, Miami Vice, Wiseguy and Kate & Allie, as well as the television movies Notorious, September, Curiosity Kills, Unnatural Pursuits and Amelia Earhart. Most recently, Guilfoyle starred in the Emmy-nominated HBO film Live from Baghdad.

Guilfoyle was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, and now lives in New York with his wife and daughter. His birth date is April 28.

Dr. Robbins

Dr. Robbins spent his early life as an underdog. Misunderstood by his peers, he began taking solace in books from an early age, discovering an aptitude for academia. Working in an HMO-heavy medical field made him long to have a private practice, and ended up settling into a career in the most private practice of them all. His love of crime novels led him to combine his two loves in his career - medicine, and being an armchair death investigator. And working alone in the quiet folds of a coroner's office allows him room to do what he does best.

Robert David Hall

After 18 years in the business, veteran character actor Robert David Hall is equally at home in film and television.

It was his role as a burn survivor in Michael Apted's Class Action (starring Gene Hackman and Lawrence Fishburne) that closely parallels his life. In 1978, an 18-wheel truck struck Hall's car. He was severely burned when his gas tank exploded, leading to the amputation of both legs. Today, Hall walks comfortably on two artificial legs.

His appearance in Class Action led to television guest-starring roles in Brooklyn South, Touched By An Angel, Promised Land, Love and War, Highway to Heaven, L.A. Law, The West Wing and recurring roles on High Incident, Life Goes On, Family Law and The Practice. He also appeared in the role of "Samson" in the TNT Emmy-winning mini-series Andersonville, directed by John Frankenheimer. Hall's additional feature work has included roles in The Negotiator, starring Kevin Spacey and Samuel L. Jackson, and the 'Recruiting Sergeant' in StarshipTroopers.

Hall's ability to act in a variety of roles--from comedy to drama—earned him 1998's Harold Russell Award from the Media Access Office, presented to the actor who serves as a role model for other disabled actors.

In addition to acting, Hall is a voiceover talent, and can be heard in many national spots. He also has a keen interest in music. He plays guitar and, in the past, has sung in several bands. For more than four years, he was the daytime voice and music director of KNX-FM, a legendary CBS alternative music station in Los Angeles.

A community activist, Hall serves on the boards of The Mark Taper Forum's Other Voices Project, The Media Access Office, The Screen Actors Guild and AFTRA (as National Chairman of the Performers with Disabilities Caucus), and Mutual Amputee Foundation (where he visits new amputees).

Hall, who was graduated from UCLA, is a husband and father of an adult son (Andrew). Hall and his wife Judith live in the Los Angeles area.

They say change is a constant. That the only thing you can count on in life, is change.

Guess what? I'm not a big fan of change.

That's why I watch television. Some shows (especially sitcoms) hardly change at all. Even if something bad happens, you know everything will be normal again by the time the next episode comes along. In most other shows, change happens gradually but with enough warning that you can get ready.

I wasn't prepared for CSI: Miami at all. I flicked it on just in time to see Tim Speedle take a bullet.

Speedle!

Just like that, Speedle was gone.

To start with, I have a soft spot for Rory Cochrane, who plays Speedle, because (like Robin Tunney) he was in Empire Records, together with Liv Tyler and Renee Zellweger and some other people. (Trivia: Cochrane dated both Zellweger and Tyler ... but not at the same time.)

Speedle might not have been the best character on the show, but he was always interesting. Speedle and Eric Delko were buddies, and with Horatio Caine ... Horatio's more obvious in his displays of emotion than, say, Grissom, and Speedle and Horatio were almost like father and son. He had a joking friendship with Calleigh Duquesne, and he even got along comfortably with Alexx Woods.

What a bummer. An interesting character, gone, just like that.

Change.

But that's not all. More change is on the way.

In the episode airing Wed 17 Aug, 10pm (SIN/THA) 11pm (HK), we meet Ryan Wolfe for the first time. Wolfe is played by Jonathan Togo, a 28-year-old who looks like a cross between Jake Gyllenhaal and Eric Szmanda. (Trivia: Togo used to be in a band, but after it split up, Togo decided to stick with acting. Some of the others went back to form a new band - The Bravery.)

Wolfe is the policeman attending the scene of the first crime - a woman who stepped in front of a bus. At first he seems to be an overenthusiastic precinct cop, but it turns out that he's trying to get onto the CSI team. He's more than qualified, and gets the chance to earn his spot because of his background, his enthusiasm, and his obsessive-compulsive tendencies. Those of you who remember Speedle's shooting will understand why Horatio checks Wolfe's weapons before making a decision. Wolfe is raring to go, but before he starts we get one scene in the CSI locker room - and as he chooses a locker for himself, we briefly see another locker, labelled "Speedle".

But getting to be a CSI isn't going to be easy for Wolfe. His first case is investigating Calleigh Duquesne's father, who's confessed that he might have run someone over last night. Much to Calleigh's disgust, Horatio doesn't let her investigate - conflict of interest, y'know - and so the rookie gets to do it. So Wolfe has to prove himself to Horatio, while working under Calleigh's watchful eye. If he proves her father's guilt, Horatio will be happy, but then he's stuck working with a woman whose father he sent to prison on his first day on the job. If he obscures the evidence enough to get Calleigh's dad off the charges, then he's probably lost any chance he had of actually becoming a CSI.

I won't tell you exactly how Wolfe manages to work that one out. You'll have to watch the episode for yourself, and draw your own conclusions. It's not a dull episode, and reveals quite a lot about the "new guy", especially when he's interacting with Calleigh.

I'm still in mourning for Speedle ... but I'm not the only one. Closer to the end of the season, we find out how his death has affected one of the other CSIs.

Hopefully, I'll be over it by then.

In the meantime, I've been watching Maximum Exposure (say it with me now, "Max X!"). This show doesn't require the emotional involvement of watching any of the CSI shows, and is just pure fun, great light entertainment. If that doesn't work, then do what I do and set aside three hours (starting at 9pm) on Sunday night for CSI, CSI: Miami and CSI: New York. A great way to close the weekend, and it finishes just in time for me to go to sleep so I can wake up bright and early to do this all over again on Monday.

Tapi skrg ni hanya CSI Miami jer tayang musim baru...CSI yang lain semuanya ulangan......

kalo nak tgk betul2 kerja forensik kat US tu baik tgk channel Astro 50, ader siri Crime Investigation. dlm siri tu baru la realiti sebenar kerja forensik tu..ahli2 nyer pun tak de la seksi mcm Catherine Willows atau Calleigh Duquesne. yg lelaki pun kebnykannye boroi jer tak de la macho mcm Eric Delko atau Nick Stokes. satu2 kes pun tak de la semua bukti mudah diperolehi dan senang nak dianalisis, kdg2 sampai berbulan baru dapat lead.

In the last season shown she was kidnapped, trapped in the car and left in the desert half dead. She actually was romantically involve with Grissom. And he propose to Sara. But the funny part is Grissom propose to Sara in the bee farm... mungkin ni romantik buat Grissom sebab dia ni suka mengkaji insect. Dan begitu jugak ngan Sara. Sehati sejiwa.

I think siri ni makin lama makin interesting. Well, compare with other CSI..... Las Vegas is the latest. Tak saba-saba nak tengok episod yang akan datang.
